NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW Does your program support layers? If not, you won't be able to use it. Save the base file on your PC, then open GIMP/PS/SAI/OC and use the File>Open directory to open your downloaded file. It's possible that the file has a too long name, rename it with a shorter name and try opening it again. If your problem is not solved yet, chances are that I can't help you. (Unless you don't know how to use your art program, in which case I suggest learning how it works and where everything is before telling me that the base doesn't open.)Rules:
Do not sell/use the designs that come with the base. Do not remove the watermark. You can use them to make egg adoptables. They can be used to sell free/point/cash adoptables, but the egg itself should not be sold for either points or cash. (This means that you need to sell an adoptable together with the egg, not the egg alone. Which is the whole point of egg adoptables, actually.) No altering the lineart, no adding stuff that is not already in the base. If you're able to draw egg accessories you're also able to draw the egg. No posting the base on other sites, claiming or selling the base. Link back to this deviation, so other people can use it.
