Melville is not really evil or antagonistic... Just mysophobic. (Mysophobia = Morbid fear of germs)

I mean, don't give him anything you slobbered on, you might have herpes. And don't breath too close to him, you might give him the flu or, God forbid, TBC and... WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, TOUCHING HIM?!? You might have SCABIES. You might transmit DEATH.
