Adoptable Hold Rules and Payment Plans

These are the rules for my holding adoptables for you. If you ask for a hold but fail to respect my rules, you'll be able to do only claims and not holds anymore.


CLAIMS
The claim is asking for an adoptable and receiving my approval. You'll have 24 hours to send the payment (I provide my PP address with the confirmation of the claim), be it through Paypal or Points.

If the payment is not sent within that time frame, I'll note/contact you, telling you that the adoptable will be released 24 hours after my note has been sent. Further claims on the adopt will be disregarded and the claimer will be put on a 'time alert', which means they'll have only 8 hours to send the payment in case of a claim of any future adoptable I may post.


HOLDS

Pre-set Hold
Pre-set holds are holds on adoptables with a pre-set price. It has a limit of 10 days, and requires a deadline. Meaning that you need to give me the exact day you'll be able to pay that needs to be within the 10 days time limit. Payment info will be sent with my approval of the hold.

AUCTION Holds
Auction holds are possible, but restricted to my choice. If you're a return customer it is more likely that I will accept an auction hold (basically because, unlike pre-sets, I can't ask the previous bidder to retain interest and pay after a week of wait). Auction holds, like motivated holds, need a deadline and they have a limit of 12 days. Inquire about an AUCTION Hold before actually bidding. Also, do not bid more than what you'll be able to pay on the deadline.

Payment Plans
Paypal transfers require two kinds of fees; one is variable and based on the amount of money transferred (so this one doesn't change if you make one or one hundred transfers) and one is fixed and it's the same amount for every transfer. So more payments = more fees. To avoid this, I generally don't accept multiple transfers but will instead prefer a single one, maybe at a later date. I do not accept payment plans under 100USD. Also, if using a payment plan, no more than 15 days need to pass between one transfer and the others.


Hold Rules
- Holds are only valid for characters that have been posted for at least 2 days
- Holds are valid only once, no re-holding or extending the hold time
- Holds will get a PM/note to alert the adopter that the adoptable will be released, but no, it doesn't give you an extra day
- Adopters that fail to respect the time limit of my holds will be put on a private list and won't be allowed holds anymore and claims will be timed 8 hours


Difference between CLAIM and HOLDS
Claim and holds are not the same thing, and follow different rules. When you ask 'can I buy the character', you're making a claim so you need to follow claim rules, 'can you put this character on hold until ...' lets you follow the hold rules. Be careful about how you phrase your wish to have a character because claims and holds have different rules.
